When you install and use the App, we collect the following types of personal information:

Information we collect from Shopify

We access certain data from your Shopify store through the Shopify APIs. This includes:

  • Store information: your shop domain, store name, and contact email address.
  • Product information: product titles, variants, prices, and publication status — used to create and manage fee products.
  • Customer information: customer geographic location (country) — used to evaluate geography-based fee conditions.
  • Order information: order details — used to track fee line items and calculate analytics.
  • Cart information: cart contents and line item properties — used by Cart Transform to apply percentage-based fees at checkout.
  • Theme information: active theme name and published themes — used to detect CSS selectors for cart drawer rendering.
  • Market information: market and currency settings — used for multi-currency fee formatting.

Information we collect directly from you

When you interact with the App, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address (from your Shopify account) for communication and support purposes.
  • Fee configurations, settings, and preferences you create within the App.
  • Billing and subscription plan selections.

Information we collect automatically

When customers visit your store, the App's storefront script may collect:

  • Browser type and IP-based geolocation (country level only) to evaluate geography-based fee display conditions.

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or web beacons independently. Any cookies used are those set by Shopify as part of normal store operation.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the App, including creating fee products, applying fees to carts, and processing fee rules.
  • Communicate with you about your account, provide customer support, and send important notices about the App.
  • Improve and optimize the App's performance, features, and user experience.
  • Display analytics and reporting within the App dashboard (e.g., fee revenue, order counts).

We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising or marketing communications unrelated to the App.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: we use trusted third-party services for hosting and infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting providers). These providers only process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.

  • Shopify: we access and interact with your data through Shopify's platform. Shopify's own privacy practices are governed by Shopify's Privacy Policy.

We do not engage in behavioral advertising or share data with ad networks.

We retain your personal information for as long as you have the App installed on your Shopify store, and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Fee configurations, settings, and associated product data are deleted within a reasonable time after you uninstall the App. If you would like to request earlier deletion of your data, please contact us using the details below.
